The Nosferatu Conspiracy

Greetings, y'all.

So some of you may or may not know this about me, but I am an author and was pretty active in 2001-2007 and after a relatively unsavory experience that felt entirely sisyphean in task, I basically walked away from writing and began to build businesses.

That was a much better turn of events for me. After about 10 years of very hard work and some white knuckling here-and-there that almost cost me my life savings a few times, I was able to get a vantage point and essentially sell off most of those businesses. So I decided it was time to put a soft close on that chapter in my life and move back to focusing on my art which at the time was enrolling in conservatory to study classical piano performance (the point of this blog).

Moving back to Los Angeles after almost a two year stint in Albuquerque, NM, I enrolled in a conservatory in West LA to study classical piano full time, but wanted something more to work on as well. So I went back to a manuscript I'd finished in 2008 called "The Nosferatu Conspiracy". The elevator pitch is: A sprawling horror epic set against the backdrop of the Fall of the Romanov Dynasty.

Well hey, guess what? I'm officially releasing this book in Fall in 2019. I'm currently in the final stages and working with a copy editor to polish the manuscript. That should be finished by August. So I'm hoping for an October 1st release date if all goes well.

Realizing it had been roughly 13 years since I've published anything, I came to the conclusion that if I did have any fans, they have long forgotten about me and that I needed a means to promote the book's release.

So in late January 2019, I started serializing it on Instagram to see if anyone would pay attention. And low-and-behold it worked! So the point of this post is to invite you to The Nosferatu Conspiracy on Instagram if you would be so kind to follow the serialization & be notified of the book's official release.

I really appreciate the support!

I spent a good year simply researching this book in 2007 and had a working draft that I've messed with over the years in mid-to-late 2008. So this project is roughly 12 years in the making. Where does the time go?!

Anyway - that's it. Thank you again for your interest and support in my writing and piano!

Your friend,

-bg.
